...but we should be able to have multiple clones of the same enemy or enemies as opposed to just one sample of each. Otherwise, keep making games.

First, you can look at the flash tutorials they have on the site:
Here.

Those will get you started, making better flashes.
After you have that, you can look on google for action script tutorials, animation, etc.

you are one of the many who wish to help me, yet you cannot. i use a unlimited free trial of a product nothing like MX or CS3. it is 4 n00bs. thank you for trying to help. even the AS compiler is screwy - only supporting AS1. sorry, but thanks anyways....

unless you want to give me a free license to flash cs3 forever....
